The Blueseventy Sprint Shorts provides buoyancy for the hips and legs whilst swimming.

Blueseventy's Sprint shorts are the perfect training aid for triathletes and swimmers, for triathletes, the shorts simulate the lift of a wetsuit and for pool swimmers, it is a versatile alternative to a pull-buoy.  

Built with buoyant Yamamoto neoprene and coated to ensure durability, it is an excellent training tool that will help improve distance per stroke, speed, and body position.

Features:

  • Train without the extra water resistance that a pull-buoy produces.
  • Neoprene thickness: 3mm on the front & 5mm on the back panels.
  • Drawstring at the waist for securing fit and an 8” inseam.

Neoprene Buoyancy & Flexibility

When it comes to neoprene for swimming, two factors really matter: Flexibility and Buoyancy. Thinner neoprene is more flexible, while thicker neoprene will provide more buoyancy.

Blueseventy products are strategically designed to offer the most flexibility where you need it, such as the arms, shoulders and upper back area. We use thin, 1.5mm - 2mm neoprene in these areas to offer complete freedom of movement throughout your entire stroke.

Thicker neoprene is placed in areas that typically tend to sink for swimmers, and where flexibility is not key. You'll find 4mm - 5mm neoprene in the chest, hips, and upper legs to enhance your swim form to be as efficient and streamlined as possible.
