Full Time Sales Associate
A Sales Associate is expected to have reasonable knowledge of triathlon or at least one of the individual sports and equipment and be ready to learn and educate themselves about the other sports. Sales associates will be expected to assist customers with choosing various types of equipment, including bikes. They will be expected to exhibit flexibility and self-motivation in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers as soon as they come in and throughout their shopping experience
- Educate customers about the programming, events and products/services that Playtri has to offer
- Help to maintain general organization and store cleanliness
- Making sure new inventory is in the system and on the floor
- Checking current inventory as directed
- Assist with minor bike repairs, including but not limited to flat repairs
- Assist with administration as needed
- Perform quick bike fits as part of bike sales
- Perform sales, refunds, exchanges, inventory updates in the Lightspeed POS system
- Become familiar with Playtri retail policies
- Become familiar with Playtri programming (services, events, etc.)
- Opening and closing of the store
Pay is hourly and based on experience in sales and knowledge of the product/sport.
